Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for writing code that aligns to standards to deliver desired product functionality in a secure and scalable fashion. You will work with core data structures and algorithms, drive code re-usability, and demonstrate understanding of technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient C++ code
Designing and implementing software features
Troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing code
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
Actively participating in code reviews
Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members
Attend daily stand ups and team meetings, completing monthly reports and following team policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in C++ programming
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages
Employment contingent upon completion of background check
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Employment contingent upon completion of background check

Preferred Skills

Higher consideration will be given to candidates:

Experience with Unreal Engine or similar game engines
Knowledge of network programming
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Additional certifications or training in C++ development
Masters Degree

Additional Information

Communication is key to a smooth and efficient pipeline; you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team-members and not be afraid to ask should any problems arise. We are an English-speaking team, so English fluency is a must.
Salary Commensurate with Experience
