Overview

In this position you will be creating 3D Facial Animations on Reallusion Character Creator 4 3D Characters using Reallusion's iClone 8 Software for Business-to-Business animation projects. You will be working solo as a 3D Character Artist, Rigger, and Animator and will work alongside our development team working in Unreal Engine. 3D Characters are created in Reallusion CC4.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Animating 3D Characters, particularly Facial Animations
  • Text2Speech2Animation and Audio2Animation pipeline using Acculips
  • Understanding of traditional animation principles that enhance believable movement
  • Experience with non-gaming Non-linear Animation (NLA) systems and/or has animated for games
  • Rapid prototyping and turn-around for animations
  • Attending daily stand ups and team meetings; completing monthly reports; and following team policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Reallusion Character Creator (CC4) and iClone 8 experience
  • Experience with exporting iClone Animations to Unreal Engine 5
  • A passion for animation and a dedication to creating AAA quality games
  • Self-motivated and able to troubleshoot technical challenges
  • Online communication (English) and Team-collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently and autonomously, supporting the development team.
  • Strong communication skills with strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to maintain composure against obstacles and solve immediate problems with thought and foresight
  • Able to build and maintain internal and external relationships and work in a team environment
  • Willing to work nonstandard work hours
  • Employment contingent upon completion of background check
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, additional education preferred

Preferred Skills

Higher consideration will be given to candidates:

  • Creation of 3D Character Skeletons & Rigs
  • Minimum of five years’ experience
  • Experience with Unity
  • Skinning (weighting) 3D Human Characters & Clothing/Armor
  • Creation of 3D quadruped and aerial creature Skeletons & Rigs
  • Skinning (weighting) 3D quadrupeds and aerial creatures•
  • Bachelor’s Degree or additional education

Additional Information

  • Communication is key to a smooth and efficient pipeline; you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team-members and not be afraid to ask should any problems arise. We are an English-speaking team, so English fluency is a must
